President Oleksiy Andreichenko was the President of the Ukraine from 2068 until his death in 2076. He was a controversial leader who governed through a tumultous period, particularly with deteriorating relations with the Russian Federation. His last days of Government were mired with a collapsing economy that saw the stockmarkets crumble and the currency lose value. He was murdered by his wife shortly before he was due to announce controversial economic reforms that would see the nationalisation of much of the countries wealth, and a restructuring of the labour force.
